Matador

Dublin based producer Matador aka Gavin Lynch and one half of
production duo Sourcecode, set out on a solo path to create a sound
that has, since its birth in 2007, clambered its way into the heart of
today’s thriving techno scene. His twisted, infectious, raw but yet
very organic fusion of techno has seen Matador release music spanning
across a very broad techno spectrum. From his releases on his own
Aciitone imprint as well as a host of other well respected
international labels such as the innovative Perc Trax, Tom Pooks
latest Movement and relative newcomer Sleaze, Matadors unique sound,
precision production style and original artist versatility, not to
mention his attention to detail, has gained him much respect among
today’s techno elite.

While Matadors latest remix of “Percs - Work Softer” continues to reek
havok on dance floors worldwide, with support from Richie Hawtin and
Dubfire (on there most recent Clik2Clik ‘Essential Mix’) among many
others. 2009 will see Matador continue his quest to deliver cutting
edge club techno. With an already jammed packed release schedule
planned that includes remixes and releases ‘Bigger Than Jesus’ ‘Pure
Genius” plus another EP due out on Perc Trax as well as a host of
releases on his own Aciitone label which includes a remix of
‘Presslaboys track Opako’ it seems like a never ending aural assault
of quality high end productions from this budding young techno talent.

Like any rising young artist the best has yet to come, as Matador
continues to work endlessly towards perfection, expect many more
big things from this raw producing talent that chooses not to follow
fads, but instead strives to create his own blend of a new wave of
what will soon be considered the techno sound of tommorrow.
