Being around for nearly two decades, Francesco Pico has left a clear mark on the Dutch electronic music scene with dozens of tracks and remixes througout the years. His trademark crossover techy funky progressive sound has gained him a solid fanbase and it was no suprise that his latest album ‘Absolutely Flabbergasted’ was well received and was a commercial success for both Francesco as well as for Manual Music.

This is the first of three remix singles, kicking off with two hard working Dutchmen: Paul Hazendonk and Adreas Bergmann.

2011 was very good for Cumiks. With their release ‘El Final’ on Dubmetrical they’ve gained quite some attention. This track wasn’t left unnoticed and was even picked up by Dave Seaman for his Renaissance Masters compilation. Hot on fire they rushed into 2012 with a stunning EP on Manual Music and a remix for Monaque. Now it’s their turn to shine on Cinematique.

‘Calocybe’ is the starter of this EP. And what a starter it is. Full of energy this hypnotizing track takes every dancefloor to another level. Friend of the label Lanny May returns for remix duties and he turns ‘Calocybe’ into a more atmosheric piece of music in his own recognizable trademark style. The second part of the EP is booked for ‘Inceptus’. The original version is amazingly uplifting and it builds up to an epic climax. Having tried this track in their live sets already, Cumiks made a second ‘live’ version of ‘Inceptus’ which even shifts a gear up.

On this release Mig once again showcases his ability to seemlessly effordless blend sounds together creating that unique Mig Dfoe vibe. From the moody title track ‘Dogward’ to the banging ‘Just’ and trippy ’909 Free’ untill the more experimental uptempo ‘Del Barrio’ and ‘Prymon’ tracks, this whole release listens away as one big blast!

His talents haven’t gone unnoticed. The Man has brought his musical passions to some of Holland’s most renowned clubs and festivals – highlights including main stage Mystery Land, Awakenings, Studio 80 and Trouw. Meanwhile GZG has gone legit, hosting area’s at major events like The Love Parade, and organizing it’s own festival in Amsterdam. The Man With No Shadow has become a household name for quality dance music, setting aflame the raunchiest of raveholes to some of the world’s leading events.

Most recently, The Man’s focus has become more international – especially since he became an intercontinental resident for Sensation Deluxe (2008 – 2011). Headlining the second floor of the world’s largest travelling indoor event and touring thirteen country’s – including Portugal, Denmark, Russia and Spain – has not only strengthened his determination to conquer all corners of the Earth. It also proves that a great deejay isn’t defined by his productions, but by his ability to rock any given dance floor.

‘Hypnotizer’ is his full single debut, after recently having released a track on Remy and Patch Park’s Fone Audio label. The ‘Hypnotizer EP’ is available now on both limited edition 12″ vinyl with full artwork sleeve as well as digitally on all the major download stores!

For someone who is just in her early 20′s she has a very mature and original style of both deejaying and producing. This hasn’t been left unnoticed. Her appearances on radio stations like XT3 techno radio, her sets on a variety of parties in and outside Holland (and Nadia’s agenda is rapidly filling itself with more bookings) and remixes she did for Snejl and Manual Music recently are proof examples of the recognition of her unique style.

With her music Nadia is aiming to tell a story filled with emotions and melodies. And that’s exactly what she does on this EP. It kicks off with the title track ‘Dimension’. Deep, dark, offbeat and filled with mystic melodies. Nadia’s close friend Estroe made a more danceflo or focussed version with still keeping the beauty of the original. Needless to say that we are proud to have the Dutch leading lady of techno aboard for this remix. The EP continues with the groovy and spacey sounds of ‘Areke’ which will work well on the dancefloor, both at night as in the early morning. Concluding track is ‘Dribs and Drabs’, a wonderful piece of music with hypnotic melodies. Mark our words, Nadia Struiwigh is a name you will see a lot more in 2012!

On remixes we welcome back Cumiks, hot on the heels of their big ‘Infinity’ single on Manual, and we welcome Fran Von Vie to our label for the first time. This talented guy has done remixes for Sasha’s Last Night On Earh-, and Richie Hawtin’s Minus label to name a few!

They have had some releases at Orbiter Music before but most of you might know them best from their massive ‘Surrender’ release at the Canada based Wide Angle recordings. That release was accompanied by remixes from familiar Cinematique faces Lanny May and Matthys so it looks like it was almost predestined for Biconnection to make their appearance on Cinematique as well.

And so here they are with two original tracks. Both ‘Vibrations’ and ‘Good Things Never End’ are characterized by some well arranged floating and dreamy pads. Their warm and deep sound will surely find the way to many lovers of the more melodic stuff. On remix duties we have invited Gisberto who had a stunning release on Cinematique recently. After his ‘Miammi Glamm’ EP he has not sit still seen the beautiful and highly acclaimed releases on Amateur Music and Klopfgeist. His remix for ‘Vibrations’ is a bit more edgy then the original, though without losing its warm and melodic touch.
