Beachclub De Karavaan, Manual Music and Comport Records have combined forces for the final Manual at the Beach party of this season. They are proud to welcome Henry Saiz to Scheveningen beach! This Spanish progressive hero is rapidly gaining worldwide fame and has recently released a brand new 2-CD mix compilation for the infamous Balance series! ‘Balance 019′ is very well received by the worldwide (electronic) music press and Henry is currently in the middle of a tour to promote this album, a tour that takes him all over the world and see him play at Manual at the Beach on August 13.

After a very wet editions in June and July, we are now expecting a bit more luck with the weather for this edition, but in case of rain we’ll simply move the party inside which makes it even more intimate as the inside capacity is limited to 400 people. Kibz & Dfndr ‘Out There EP’

Serbian duo Kibz and Dfndr are the driving forces behind the rising label Atonal. They are getting known more and more because of their strong productions as well.

Their remix for Double Shift on Stolen Moments last year did very well and turned a lot of heads in their direction. Now they are back with their very own release titled ‘Out There EP’ which showcases their ability to create superb funkin’ and rolling techno tracks for the masses.

Early DJ support comes from Remy, Jody Wisternoff, Slam, Paul Hazendonk, Miss Nine, Daniel Mehes, Tyler Stadius, Eelke Kleijn, Anthony Pappa and many others!

Limbo returns on Manual Music

Canadian artist Limbo returning on Manual Music after a loooong absense, I guess you didn’t see that one coming now did you?

Limbo is not the most productive artist around, but you can be sure that when he drops a release it’s packed with quality. Listen to his previous timeless releases on fine labels such as Back Home, Wide Angle, Proton Music and our very own Manual Music and you will know what we’re talking about.

Two brand new tracks here, the wobbly and freaky title track ‘Wishingwell’ and the more straight forward, but still equally freaky ‘Other Junk’.

We welcome Morris Cowan (Traum / Zaubernuss) on board for the first time and welcome back familiar face Sigward. Each drop a massive remix which can best be described as a fusion of broken beat and dubstep.

Manual at the Beach invites Outside The Box

The yearly tradition of having Eelke Kleijn over at Karavaan Beachclub returns for the third year in a row. And if having Eelke Kleijn over isn’t enough, Francesco Pico is also celebrating his birthday! These two are forfighters of forward thinking electronic music which some might call ‘progressive’, but that would be putting it into a box, and they don’t like to put theirselves into a box.. Outside The Box!

Naturally Manual Music founder Paul Hazendonk will also be playing, and with Tundra, Qbical, Sigward and Roell Sapphire making the line-up complete, this will be one party you don’t want to miss. The entrance is 100% FREE and in case of rain / bad weather we’ll just move the party inside, keeping it intimate for a couple of hundred people.

Hope to see you at Karavaan Beachclub Scheveningen, this saturday.
We will start at 4pm (come early and enjoy some awesome food whilst listening to great music) and the party ends at 2:30am. Be sure to join the Facebook event page (and post it on your wall / invite your friends etc!)

Summer Movement 2011

For the third year in a row we are giving birth to a ‘Summer Movement’ various artists release on Manual Music, presenting music that makes you feel summerish instantly when you hear it somewhere.

This year we welcome two familiar faces back on board: Dutchmen Noraj Cue and Tundra. But naturally we’re also keeping an eye open for talent from all around the world, and are proud to welcome Gisberto (NL), Elorn (FR) and XY-ME (UK) on board for their debut on Manual Music.

A versatile release, balancing between techhouse, melodic techno, neotrance and breakbeats, with one key word: quality. Something for everyone here for sure.

Enjoy this release, enjoy the summer of 2011!

Furrr & Hazendonk return on their own Melomane label

Label owners Furrr and Hazendonk return on Melomane after some time of absense. Their previous singles on Melomane ‘Rrrhythm’ and ‘Rrringit’ were very well received and has lead them to do releases on labels such as Diynamic, Little Mountain, Einmusika, Neurotraxx and Witty Tunes, next to various remixes on a variety of labels.

Now they are back on their own label with two brand new summerish techhouse tracks. ‘Get On The Drum Bus’ is a funky as hell track build around a simple but effective oldschool sounding piano riff. Remixes come from Dutch duo Love Girls (This Is / Smut Music) and familiar face Leonardo Gonnelli.

The other track on this release is ‘Het Spierenburg Effect’ (Scheveningen versie). The original version is much more stripped down and got released on Manual Music last month, appearing exclusively on Paul Hazendonk’s latest mix compilation. This more pumpy version has got summer written all over it.

The official ‘Sound Shifting: Versatility’ sampler EP is here!

Available now: the ‘Sound Shifting: Versatility’ sampler EP, featuring the exclusive tracks that were only available as ‘album only’ on the full compilation.

Fresh tracks by Manual label head honcho Paul Hazendonk who teams up with Luke Mandala, Rotterdam duo Klankarbeit, familiar face Noraj Cue and fresh talent Aebeloe from Denmark who drops two tracks on this sampler!

Tigerskin drops THE essential summer tune of 2011!

Tigerskin returns on Manual Music with a very special summer tune. ‘Morons We Are’ is an awesome retro-feel vocoder track that is so damn infectious it will be stuck in your head instantly the after first time you’ve heard it. Reworks come from Naughty (aka Filippo Moscatello) and Qbical. This is essential stuff!
