They drop two massive, moving and shakin’ techno tracks on this EP, essential stuff!

Qbical returns with a new single after nearly two years!

Qbical is back with his first new single after almost two years of absense! Listening to this release quickly learns that he didn’t loose his special touch, nor did he loose that special Qbical sound with which he established his name a couple of years ago. Both ‘Enceladus’ and ‘Venus’ are moody, funky, uplifting dancefloor friendly club movers which will appeal to a wide audience without any doubt!

On remix duties you’ll find Canadian artist Groj who have been turning heads lately after strong tunes on Loki Recordings, Back Home, Natura Sonoris, Strange Town Recordings, Proton etc.

Daniel Mehes is already a familiar face for you Manual Music followers, having delivered a stellar remix for Francesco Pico last year we’ve decided to ask him back for seconds’ and he delivers once again!

Pompidou are a talented producer duo from the same hometown as Qbical who also play a mean live set. This remix is their recording debut, but we’re sure many more labels will be interested in their funk infected sound in the close future!

Fer Br debuts on Melomane

Some of you might know Fer Br from his hardgroove techno releases on all the bigger labels in that genre over the past years. But he has just decided to switch his sound to a lower tempo, focussing more on the techhouse market, and ‘Whos Zoomin EP’ on our Melomane label is one of the first singles in this new sound. It includes the massive ‘Dance!!’ track which has been hammered by Furrr & Hazendonk over the past months and with the summer knocking on your door, we’re sure the timing of this release is just right. Check it out if you are into no-nonsense house/techhouse dancefloor stuff!

‘Sound Shifting: Versatility’ 2-CD mixed by Paul Hazendonk

Paul Hazendonk, the unstoppable force behind Manual Music as well as one half of DJ and production duo Furrr & Hazendonk, presents a new double compilation album – Sound Shifting: Versatility.

The album is released on Manual Music: A multi-faceted music company involved with publishing, distribution and music release across an eclectic range of sublabels.

A pet project for Hazendonk the album showcases his ability to mix a bundle of new and classic tunes. An artist who claims to be influenced by ‘funk, basslines and melodies’, this is clearly in evidence here as he deftly curates an impressive collection of tracks.

There is a noticeable gear change between CD1 and CD2, shifting from funky club grooves to introspective electronica. It’s a real ‘something for everyone’ selection, illustrating the excellent taste that has helped Hazendonk come so far in the industry.

CD1 is ‘Body’ and so it is fitting that it has more of a danceable flavour. An accessible and straightforward album, it also gives Hazendonk the opportunity to showcase some of Manual Music’s artists, including Examine and Matador. It’s the perfect album to get you in the mood for a night on the tiles, and includes a cheeky showcase of top new Furrr & Hazendonk single Het Spierenburg Effect.

CD2 is ‘Mind’ and has more of an introspective vibe. Opening with Dual Shaman’s White Rose – a burst of delightfully atmospheric electronica – this half of the mix has lots to offer those into their deep electronic explorations. That is not to say that it’s without its move rave-spirited moments though, like 2008′s De Minimal Die Nu Hip Is from Egbert.

Body and Mind, like Yin and Yang, is a perfectly balanced duo. On Sound Shifting: Versatility Hazendonk has cherry-picked an epic selection of tunes that should delight hardcore music fans and prove educational to those less familiar with the genres covered.

Paul Hazendonk – Sound Shifting: Versatility is out from today on Manual Music and available on CD, and digital exclusively available on www.beatport.com. The compilation album is available on all other online music retailers from May 30th.

You can also order the CD directly from us for only 12,50 (excl. shipping costs) by dropping an email to info@manual-music.com

Piet van Dongen feat. Patchy – She Can’t Stop This

Veteran Jesper Dahlback takes the track in a more techy direction, keeping it raw and direct, where Jarno takes it more deep and dubby on his remix. Be sure to keep an eye out for the official video for this one by the way, which is up on our official Youtube channel!

Luca Donzelli returns on Stolen Moments after last years ‘Stole Noche’ release. This funk master from Italy who is a regular artist on the infamous Presslab label drops two brand new tracks here with ‘Mr. Boncho’ and ‘Delirium’, both finding their way between techhouse and techno.

Leonardo Gonnelli & Mennie ‘Mytester 2000 EP’

Italian funk master Leonardo Gonnelli returns on the Melomane label after having done one of the labels’ first releases back in the day.  With releases under his belt on labels such as Deeperfect, iPocket, Spinnin Deep and ofcourse his very own Jonk Records label it’s pretty safe to say this guy is on fire lately!

This time he teams up with his buddy Mennie for a full on four track EP packed with infectious rhytmic bassline driven (tech)house music. Very DJ- and dancefloor friendly, this release is sure to appeal to many.

Early support by Roger Sanchez, Wehbba, Slam, Marco Carola, Eelke Kleijn, Paul Hazendonk, Tyler Stadius and many others!

Eelke Kleijn ‘Untold Remixes Part 1′

With the brilliant album ‘Untold Stories’ still causing a worldwide stirr, and the successful singles ‘Theme For Nosey’ and ‘Will I Love’ setting dancefloors on fire every weekend, some proper remixes are the logical next step.

For the first of two remix singles we welcome on board Argentinian world class artist Hernan Cattaneo who teams up with his buddies Soundexile. Matador is causing major damage in the techno scene lately with releases and remixes for labels such as Cocoon, 1605, Rekluse, Harthouse etc. and Miss Nine doesn’t need much introduction either, being one of the hardest working DJane’s in the electronic music scene.

A little bit for everyone here, I’m sure you’ll find something of your liking..

Dave Seaman, Sasha, Nick Warren, Henry Saiz, Nic Fanciulli, Gregor Tresher, Slam, Wehbba and many others are already supporting this baby, will you be next?
